Working with Zach on a 9-ton basalt presence in Niwot. The stone is strong; we have to be very clear with it. Paul in Ventura helped us to understand that. The stone has seemed communicative lately - at first just wild energy, stuck together at the core with some furious glue. As we help express the energy it seems happy to become its new, differently beautiful self. It is an honor to be with it in this way.
